by Tom O

Everyone in this world have dream’s that they hope will come true, and everyone wants to climb to the ladder of success. Life revolves around luxuries like expensive vacations, and dinner at a pricey restaurant. And all this, just to please the ones you love and yourself. But isn’t life also about giving back a little of what you’ve taken?

This balance can be achieved in the form of donations to the poor and the needy through charitable organizations and events. Easier said than done, fixing the amount you want to give back,it is such a difficult thing to do, because, you cannot compromise too much on your lifestyle to make this balance.

Approach the decision as if you would an engagement ring or a trip to vegas. Make sure you have the money first to give that will not break you financially. You must keep the lifestyle going that you are accustomed to.

Open a special savings account to set aside money just as if you would for any of your savings. Decide per month how much you can afford to stow away in this account. If you are on a budget, alot $10, $25, or any price you can handle and set this aside.

Search for a good place to give your money to, because, finding a good place for your hard earned money, is just as crucial, as the decision to save up. Browse through the Internet, it is a very popular option today for many, and you’ll definitely find something.

Search the heart! Find something that you care about. If you have an afinity to animals like I do, this may be a good place to start. The Humane society or Pita are good organizations to get involved in. Just think about the animals you can help save.

Well, if giving to others is a good deed indeed, it is also essential that you keep your own family provided for. Invest in yourself, in the form of stocks and time shares. This way, you are not just providing for your family, but keeping them secure for many generations.

By deciding how much you can spare, you’ve accomplished your choice in bringing balance to your life. Take a small share of your salary to give away. But don’t do it at the cost of all that you’ve worked for to attain. The money you save can be donated periodically to the organization of your choice. Just that, never try to use this account as a back-up for your financial needs. Follow all this, and you’ll be giving yourself some good karma in return.
