Blogging - The New Media Publishing House
What do some manuscripts and pet dogs have in common? Well it is the loyalty! You write something and send it off to the publisher, only for it to get rejected and sent back. Sometimes they will have a piece of advice attached to them mentioning about the flair for writing skills you possess; however, regrettably informing that the publishing house requires something else.
Somebody must have gone through this one too many times when the bright idea of blogging popped up in his head! The easy way of eliminating editors - though plotting their demise is more enjoyable in many cases - was finally discovered. Get a blog, write on anything under the sun, in this or any other galaxy, and nobody can tell you not to.
Nobody can tell you what to write about, either. If one morning you feel that a sunrise looked particularly nice, or if a cloud reminded you of a wax statue at Madame Tussaud’s, well, you can go right ahead and write about it.
The very best part, though, is that you can find plenty of people who have an opinion on what you write about, even if you decide, for some reason, to write about Latin phrasebooks. It follows that no matter what you have an opinion on, you can easily find a blog about it, where you can agree or disagree.
What’s more, blogging can be profitable too. A few readers and a link here and there brings you web traffic and that gradually builds up to give you an income potential through pay per click ads placed within your blog page. So, you can write about what you love and get paid for it too.
Some of the most common blogs are how-to blogs. No matter what you want to do, somebody will tell you how to do it. Or if you like keeping up with the weirder happenings of the world, there are bloggers who dedicate hours to gathering the weirdest of news.
If you prefer lifestyle news and tips, you’ll find several blogs to keep you amused. If entertainment is your style, you’ll come across plenty of bloggers willing to share what they know and think about your favourite television shows, movies or music.
No matter what you want to know, there are people who want to tell you - for no real reason other than that they just want to. No matter what you want to say, there will be people who want to listen. That’s what blogs are for!
